Welcome to Steve's new home on the web!

Oh, Sweet Music

Apr, 24 2007

Steve Biegner, though still missing his international bandmates, is broadening his performance spectrum with the addition of Julia Suriano singing back up vocals and Eric Lee on guitar and violin.

Julia is a sprite little 15 year old with a voice that will lull all of your ships to shipwreck. The two both admired the other's voices in spite of the age difference and decided to try to sing together. Steve was so excited by the way their two voices sounded together he asked Julia to perform with him forever and always. So far, so good.

Steve met Eric Lee in the pit orchestra for PACE's production of Godspell. Eric could play like Bach with his eyes closed. He could also make his violin sound like the entire Jimi Hendrix Experience. The two played a couple of Steve's songs and Eric's been coming back ever since. Steve is thrilled about this.

You can hear them all together opening for Edie Carey at PACE on May 4th, at 8:00. Check www.pioneerarts.org for more info.
